Collin Burkhart, a freshman at Penn State, placed second in the men's 6-kilogram hammer throw with a fifth-round mark of 238-1 (72.58m) at the USATF U20 Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Burkhart transitioned from throwing the 16-pound implement at Penn State, with a personal-best 212-1 (64.65m) this season.
